Danevirke

Okay kiddo, so Danevirke is actually a really big wall that was built a long, long time ago. It goes all the way across the bottom part of Denmark, which is a country in Europe.

The wall was built to keep bad guys out, sort of like the walls of a castle. But instead of protecting just one castle, the wall protected the whole country!

Now, the really cool thing about this wall is that it was built using big rocks, dirt, and even some trees! It was really hard work, but the people who built it were super strong and determined to protect their home.

Today, we can still see some parts of the wall, even though it's really old. It reminds us of how important it is to protect our homes and countries from bad guys who might want to hurt us.
