Danish Committees on Scientific Dishonesty

Well kiddo, the Danish Committees on Scientific Dishonesty are groups of adult people who want to make sure that scientists are always telling the truth. Just like how you want your friends to always tell you the truth, scientists should always tell the truth too!

Sometimes scientists can make mistakes or even purposely say things that are not true. That's not fair to everyone who is trying to learn from them or use their information. So, these Committees investigate and decide if a scientist has done something wrong or not truthful.

If they find out that the scientist did something dishonest, they will tell other people, and the scientist might not be allowed to do certain things anymore. It's like when you're playing a game and someone cheats - it's not fair, and they shouldn't get to play anymore.

The goal of these Committees is to make sure that scientific information is always trustworthy and reliable. That way, we can learn new things and make even more discoveries!
