ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Data localization

Data localization is a way of making sure data is kept safe. It means that the data is only stored in one place, called the ‘location’, and it can’t be moved to another place. This means that no one can access it unless they have permission to do so. It’s a bit like locking your most important belongings away in a safe – no one else can get to it or change it without your permission. It’s a good way of making sure your data stays secure and is being used in the way you want it to be used.
