Date of birth of Jesus
Okay kiddo, so a really long time ago, about 2,000 years ago, a baby was born who we now know as Jesus. But the thing is, we don’t know for sure the exact date that he was born.
Some people think that he might have been born in December because of a holiday that we celebrate called Christmas. But there’s actually no solid evidence to support that theory.
Other people think that the date might be in the spring, like in March or April, because that’s when shepherds would typically be out with their flocks, and there’s a story in the Bible about some shepherds visiting baby Jesus.
The truth is, we really don’t know the exact date that Jesus was born. But that’s okay, because it’s more important to focus on the things that Jesus taught and the way that he lived his life, than worrying about the day he was born.
