David Criswell

David Criswell is a scientist who studies ways that we can use the energy from the Sun to help solve our energy problems. He has come up with lots of ideas about how we can use solar energy to generate electricity, heat homes, cook food, and power our cars. For example, he has designed a special mirror that reflects sunlight to a single spot on the Earth to gather its energy - like a big magnifying glass! He also has plans for a power plant that would capture the sun’s energy and use it to get electricity for everyone.
