Deadlock

Deadlock is like when two friends are pulling on the same rope. They both pull really really hard, but neither one can win and the rope stays in one spot. That's kind of like a deadlock in computers. It's when two things are trying to use the same resource at the same time, so neither one can do what it needs to and everything gets stuck.
