When someone does a bad thing and breaks the rules or laws, they can be punished. Sometimes, the punishment is to be put in a special place called jail. While in jail, the person has to follow more rules and can't leave without permission. If the person still doesn't follow the rules, they might not get to do certain things that they were supposed to, like eating or going outside. This is called being in default. The person who is doing the punishing is called the executee, and when someone doesn't do what they are supposed to while being punished, the executee has to make a decision on what to do next. In this case, the person who isn't following the rules is called a defaulted executee.
