Dehellenization of Christianity

Dehellenization of Christianity means taking away some of the ideas and beliefs that Christians inherited from ancient Greek philosophy. For example, ancient Greeks believed in gods and goddesses who were in control of all things, while Christians believe in only one God, called Yahweh. Dehellenization means getting rid of beliefs and ideas that are not related to the Christian faith, so that the central beliefs of Christianity can be focused on.
