Deity

Deities are things that some people believe are supernatural beings, or gods. These gods have control over certain things, such as rain, snow, the sun, or even all of nature. People who believe in deities might pray to them for help, or give them offerings in exchange for a wish or a blessing. People might also worship their deity by singing songs, making art, or participating in special ceremonies.
