ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Democratic centralism

Democratic centralism is a system used by some governments and organizations to make decisions. It combines both democracy (where people have the power to decide things) and centralism (where one person or group has the power to make decisions). In democratic centralism, all members of the group have an equal say in deciding on an issue, but the final decision is made by a central leader. This leader is chosen by the group, so everyone has a say in who makes the final decision. This system is used by some governments and organizations because it allows for quick decisions with input from everyone.
