Demographics of Turkey

Okay kiddo, demographics is a big word that means information about the people who live in a place. So, when we talk about the demographics of Turkey, we are talking about things like how many people live there, how old they are, and what languages they speak.

Turkey is a big country that is located in both Europe and Asia. It's home to around 80 million people, which is a lot! Most of these people live in cities and towns, but there are also some who live in rural areas.

In Turkey, there are many different ethnic groups, but the majority of people are Turkish. They speak a language called Turkish, which is the official language of the country. However, there are also some people who speak Kurdish, Arabic, and other languages.

When it comes to religion, most people in Turkey are Muslim. This means they follow a religion called Islam. However, there are also some Christians and Jews who live in Turkey.

As for age, Turkey has a pretty young population. Many people there are under 30 years old. This means there are lots of children and teenagers in Turkey!

Overall, Turkey is a diverse country with lots of different people and cultures. But despite these differences, everyone who lives there is proud to call themselves Turkish and to be part of this amazing country!
