Density meter

A density meter is a scientific tool used to measure how tightly packed something is. Just like things that you might find in your home, like books, balls and apples, all things have a certain 'density'. This means that they all take up different amounts of space. A density meter looks like a big machine and it measures how tightly packed something is. It works by measuring how much something weighs and figuring out how much space it takes up. For example, it can tell you if the same amount of apples takes up less space than the same amount of books.
