Design engineer

A design engineer is like someone who builds things with their creativity and imagination. Like when you play with building blocks and make a big castle, a design engineer is like the one who makes the plans for the castle before you build it.

They use their brain to think about how to create things that are useful, fun or interesting. They use special tools and software that help them draw and make models (like toy cars or airplanes) before they are actually built.

For example, let's say you want to make a toy car. A design engineer would first draw the car on paper and then use a computer to create a 3D model of the car. This helps them to see how the car will look like from every angle and if it will work well.

The design engineer also thinks about how the car will be made and what materials will be needed. They think about how strong the car needs to be and if it can be played with safely. Once they have finished the design, they will give the instructions to other people called manufacturing engineers, who will actually make the car.

So, in simple words, a design engineer is someone who makes plans and thinks very hard about how to make things that work well and look good.
