Devadatta

Devadatta was an important person in stories from ancient India. He was a brave and powerful man, but he also caused a lot of trouble. Devadatta was jealous of a great hero named Buddha, so he tried to hurt him and even tried to kill him. Buddha was too kind and powerful for Devadatta, so he didn't succeed. Eventually, Devadatta realized how wrong he had been and asked Buddha to forgive him. Buddha was so kind that he did forgive him and teach him how to be better. Devadatta became a better person and it was a happy ending.
