Developmental Neuropsychology (journal)

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a little baby learn how to crawl, walk, and talk? It's amazing, isn't it? And have you noticed that as a baby grows up, they start to learn more and more things?

Well, developmental neuropsychology is like a grown-up way of studying how our brains develop and learn things. And there’s a journal all about it!

Our brains are like supercomputers that help us think, talk, move, and remember things. But just like how we learn new things every day, our brains also change and grow as we grow up.

In this journal, scientists study how babies and kids learn, think, and remember things by looking at how their brains work. They look at things like how babies recognize their parents’ faces, how kids learn to read, and how our memory gets better when we practice something over and over.

The scientists also study how different parts of the brain do different things. For example, they look at how the part of the brain that controls language develops in kids who speak different languages, or how the part of the brain that controls our emotions develops as we grow up.

Basically, this journal helps people - especially doctors and scientists - learn a lot about brains, how they work and change, and helps them figure out how to heal brains that might not work quite right.
