In Islam, the devil is called "Shaitan" or "Iblis". He is a bad spirit who tries to make people do bad things and go against what God wants them to do. He is like a naughty boy who tries to convince other children to break the rules and do naughty things with him.
The story of Shaitan begins when God created Adam and Eve, the first human beings. God asked all the angels and Shaitan to bow down to Adam as a sign of respect for God's creation. While all the angels obeyed, Shaitan refused because he believed he was better than Adam. This made God angry and he cast Shaitan out of heaven forever. From then on, Shaitan became a rebel and tried to make humans disobey God just like he did.
Shaitan whisper bad thoughts into people's ears, making them feel tempted to do bad things. For example, he might whisper to someone to cheat, lie or hurt someone else. But it's important for us to remember that these thoughts are not our own and that they come from Shaitan who wants to misguide us. It's up to us to make the right choice and follow God's teachings instead of listening to Shaitan's misleading whispers.
Therefore, in Islam, Shaitan is seen as an enemy and a test for humans. God has given us free will to choose between doing good or bad, and it's up to us to resist Shaitan's whispers and make the right choices in life.
