Dictatorship of the proletariat

Dictatorship of the proletariat means that the working class people are in charge and make the rules. In a dictatorship of the proletariat, workers get to decide what happens in their lives and in the lives of other people. The government is run by and for the workers, not by a single leader or a small group of powerful people. Everyone has a say in what happens - everyone gets to have their voice heard.
