Dictatus papae

Dictatus Papae was a list of rules put together by Pope Gregory VII in the 1100s. It was a set of laws and rules made to show the power and authority that a Pope had over churches, people, and other religious leaders. Basically, the Pope had absolute control over how everyone else had to do things.
