Dielectric strength

Dielectric strength is a measure of the ability of an material (like a bubble or an electrical insulator) to withstand an electric field. If an electric field is too strong, the material will break down and stop protecting against electric shocks. Dielectric strength is like a measure of how strong the bubble or insulator needs to be to keep electrical current from getting through.
