Dietary fiber

Dietary fiber is like the broom for your insides. You know how you use a broom to sweep your room clean? Well, your tummy also needs a broom to sweep out all the bits and pieces of food that your body can't digest.

These bits and pieces are called fiber, and they come from plants like fruits, vegetables, and grains. Fiber doesn't give your body energy or any special vitamins, but it helps things move along smoothly in your tummy.

If you don't eat enough fiber, your tummy can get all backed up, and that's no fun for anyone. Eating fiber every day keeps your tummy happy, your poop healthy, and your insides working the way they should.
