Dievs, sveti Latviju

Dievs is the Latvian word for God. Svēti Latviju means "Bless Latvia". People in Latvia believe in God and they ask for blessings for their country. It is like when you say a prayer asking for good things for your family and friends, but in this case, they are asking for good things for their entire country. People believe that God will make sure good things happen for Latvia and will protect it from bad things.
