ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Digital privacy

Digital privacy means keeping the data or information you have online secure, so that no one else can look at it or use it without your permission. It is important because we all have lots of private and personal information online, like our passwords, photos, or bank account numbers. If someone else was able to access or misuse this information, it could be really dangerous and hurt us! We can stay secure online by using strong passwords, not sharing too much information online, or using 'VPNs' which hide our online activities from other people, so that no one can see what we are doing.
