ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Internet privacy

Internet privacy is all about keeping your personal information private when using the internet. It means that you want websites and other online services to keep the information you give them (like your name and address) away from being seen by other people. It also means that you want to make sure that nobody is able to snoop around your online activity and see what sites you’ve visited and what you’ve done. To make sure your privacy is protected, you should use strong passwords, use encryption software to protect your data, and only visit secure websites. That way, you can feel confident when you’re online that your information and activity is safe from prying eyes.
