Dilithium is a special kind of crystal that makes it possible for spaceships, like the ones from Star Trek, to travel faster than the speed of light. It's a very powerful energy source and it's found only in certain parts of the galaxy. Dilithium is put in the engines of spaceships to help them move really fast.
