ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Direction, position, or indication sign

Okay kiddo, have you ever gone to a new place with your parents, and they didn't know which way to go? That's where direction signs come in. Direction signs are like clues that can help you figure out which way to go to get to your destination.

Now, imagine that you are in a big playground with lots of equipment and toys. If you wanted to find your favourite toy, you would need to know where it is located in the playground. That's where position signs come in! They help you find the exact location of the toy you are looking for.

Finally, let's imagine that you are in a supermarket and you need to find your favourite snack. You don't know where it is, but you see an arrow pointing in a certain direction. That arrow is called an indication sign. It tells you which way to go to find what you're looking for.

So, in summary, direction signs show you which way to go, position signs show you where to find something, and indication signs guide you to your destination. Pretty cool, huh?
