So, disc golf is kind of like regular golf, but instead of hitting a little ball with a stick, you throw a special Frisbee called a "disc" into a basket. You start at a certain spot called a "tee pad" and try to throw the disc into the basket in as few throws as possible, just like in regular golf.
The course is set up with a bunch of these tee pads and baskets, and there are usually many different paths you can take to get to each basket. Each hole has its own "par" which means the number of throws it takes an "expert player" to get the disc into the basket. You can compare your score to the par of each hole to see how well you're doing.
Discs come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, just like regular Frisbees. But, different discs are used for different shots. Some discs are good for long throws, some are good for short throws, some curve more to the right or left, and others are better at staying in the air for a long time. Experienced disc golfers usually carry several different discs with them to use throughout the game.
Disc golf is a fun way to hang out outside with friends, get some exercise, and enjoy some friendly competition. Plus, it's a great way to practice hand-eye coordination and throwing skills!
