Blade runner is a movie about a special kind of police officer called a blade runner, who is trained to hunt down and 'retire' (or kill) robots called replicants. Replicants look and act like humans, but they have been created by scientists to do dangerous jobs that real people don't want to do. Blade runners have to find the replicants, and then make sure they are not a danger to humans.
