ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Discoverability

Discoverability means finding things easily. Imagine you are playing hide-and-seek and you hide somewhere that is really hard to find. That would be hard for the others to discover you.

Similarly, when people talk about discoverability in things like movies, books or websites, it means how easy it is for people to find them. For example, if a website is not easily found through a search engine like Google or Bing, then its discoverability is low.

In other words, when something is easily found by people who are looking for it, its discoverability is higher. It is important because if something is not easily found, people might miss out on it or not even know it exists!
