Discrimination against drug addicts

Discrimination against drug addicts means not treating them the same as someone who does not have a drug problem. It means that there are unfair rules or ideas in place that stop drug addicts from having the same chances in life as someone who doesn't have a drug problem. For example, employers may not want to hire someone who has a history of drug addiction because they think they will be more likely to do something wrong or take drugs in the workplace.
