Discrimination against people with HIV/AIDS

Okay, so you know how we all have germs in our body that can make us sick? Well, there's one kind of germ called HIV that can make people very sick over time if they don't take medicine for it. People can get HIV by doing things like sharing needles or having sex without protection.

Now, even though lots of people can get HIV, some people treat people who have HIV unfairly. They might not want to be friends with them or play with them because they're worried they'll get sick too – but that's not how you can catch HIV. Some people might even say mean things or not let someone with HIV go to school or work with them.

This is called discrimination, and it's not okay. It's important to remember that people with HIV are just like anyone else, and they deserve to be treated with kindness and respect. We can all help stop discrimination by being good friends and standing up for what's right.
