Dishwasher detergent

Okay kiddo, so you know how sometimes our plates and cups get really dirty and we have to wash them? Well, sometimes we can put them in a machine called a dishwasher that washes them for us!

But the dishwasher needs something to help it clean the dishes - this is where dishwasher detergent comes in! It's like a special soap just for the dishwasher.

Dishwasher detergent has different things inside of it that make it work. The most important thing is called enzymes - these are like tiny helpers that break down the food and grime on our dishes so the dishwasher can wash it away.

The detergent also has something called surfactants. Surfactants are like little magnets that pull the dirt and grease away from the dishes and into the water.

Sometimes, dishwasher detergents can have too many chemicals that can be harmful for the environment. So, it's important to read the label and choose one that is eco-friendly.

And that's it! Dishwasher detergent is like a special soap that helps our dishwasher clean our dishes by using enzymes and surfactants.
