ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Disney method

Okay kiddo, you know how Disney makes really great movies like Frozen or The Lion King? Well, they have a way of thinking about how to make those movies called the Disney Method.

The Disney Method is a way of coming up with creative ideas and making them happen. It's divided into three parts, which are like different stages of making a cake.

The first part is called "The Dreamer" and it's all about thinking up big ideas. This is like when you decide what kind of cake you want to make - maybe you want a chocolate cake with lots of frosting. In the Disney Method, you dream up lots of different ideas, without worrying about whether they are practical or possible.

The second part is called "The Realist" and it's all about figuring out how to make the big ideas happen. This is like when you read the recipe for the cake and figure out what ingredients you need and how long it will take to bake. In the Disney Method, you look at your ideas and figure out what steps you need to take to make them happen.

The third part is called "The Critic" and it's all about making sure that the big ideas are really good and will work in the real world. This is like when you taste the batter of your cake before you put it in the oven to make sure it's delicious. In the Disney Method, you look at your ideas again and make sure they are realistic and will actually work.

So, by using the Disney Method, you can come up with really cool and creative ideas, figure out how to make them happen, and make sure they are good ideas that will actually work. Pretty neat, huh?
