Distinctness of image

When you take a picture, it's important that you can see what's in the picture clearly. But sometimes, things in the picture might look blurry or fuzzy, and you can't tell what they are. That means the picture is not distinct.

Think of it like a puzzle. When you put a puzzle together, all the pieces should fit perfectly and you should be able to see what the picture is. But if some of the pieces are not cut right or are missing, you won't be able to tell what the picture is supposed to be. That means the picture is not distinct.

So, when we talk about the distinctness of an image, we mean how clear and easy to see everything in the picture is. The more distinct a picture is, the easier it is to tell what's in it.
