Distributed cognition

Distributed cognition is when people in a group work together and share their thoughts and ideas to come up with better solutions to problems. This means each person's knowledge and skills get combined with those of the other people in the group. So instead of relying on just one person's ideas, you can use the combined ideas and knowledge from everyone in the group to come up with better answers.
