Distribution resource planning

Distribution Resource Planning is a type of planning system that helps companies figure out how to get products to customers. It looks at what products need to be moved to different places, how much of each product needs to be sent, and which trucks or trains can deliver them. Companies use this system to make sure they have enough resources (like transportation, people and materials) to move products from their factories to their stores or customers. That way, customers can get their products in a timely manner.
