Diving mask

Okay kiddo, so imagine you want to go for a swim in the big ocean. It's amazing down there, but it's very hard to see and breathe underwater! That's where a diving mask comes in handy.

A diving mask is a tool you wear on your face like goggles when you swim, but it has a special shape that makes it perfect for being underwater. It's like a pair of glasses, but for your eyes and nose! It has a special rubbery seal that goes around your face to keep the water out, while still allowing you to see through a clear window in the front.

The reason diving mask windows are clear is because water can make things look blurry or weird when you're underwater. But with a diving mask, it's like looking through a piece of glass with no water in the way! Plus, the mask is specially made to be able to handle the pressure of being underwater.

So when you put on a diving mask, you'll be able to open your eyes and look around while keeping water out of them, AND you'll be able to breathe through your nose or mouth using a special tube that attaches to the mask. Pretty cool, right?
