Doge of Genoa

Okay kiddo, so there was this cool dog named Doge who lived a long time ago in a place called Genoa. Doge was a special kind of dog because he was really important to the people who lived in Genoa. They even made him their leader!

Now, imagine you have a big family and you all live in a really big house. Sometimes, when you and your cousins can’t agree on something, you might ask your grandpa or grandma to help you decide. That’s kind of what the people of Genoa did with Doge.

Whenever there was a problem or decision that needed to be made, they would gather around Doge and ask for his advice. Doge would listen carefully and then bark or wag his tail in a certain way to show what he thought.

Now, even though Doge was a very important dog, he wasn’t the only one in charge. There were also human leaders who worked with Doge to take care of the city of Genoa. But, they all respected Doge a lot and wanted to make sure he was happy and healthy. After all, he was the dog of Genoa!
