Dollar Diplomacy is a way that governments try to influence other countries by using money to buy influence. Basically, it means that a government will give money to another country in exchange for that country changing its policies or its behavior in some way. For example, if a country wants another country to recognize it as a legitimate nation, it might give it money in exchange for doing so. Instead of using military force or political pressure, dollar diplomacy uses money as a way of getting what it wants.
