Domain sniping

Domain sniping is when someone buys a domain name before someone else does. It's a bit like a race. Say someone wants a website to use for a business, and that website needs a certain domain name (like example.com). If someone else wants to buy that same domain, they would both race to buy it first. Whoever buys the domain name first gets to use it, and the other person has to pick a different domain name.
