Domestic Worker's Bill of Rights

Okay, so imagine you have a person who comes over to your house to help you with chores like cleaning, cooking, or taking care of your children. That person is called a domestic worker.

Now, the domestic worker's bill of rights is a set of rules and laws that were made to make sure that these workers are treated fairly and with respect.

This bill of rights says that domestic workers should get paid a fair wage (that means they should get paid enough money for the work they do). It also says that they should get time off to rest and take care of themselves.

The bill of rights also says that domestic workers should be treated with kindness and respect, just like any other worker. They shouldn't be yelled at, insulted, or mistreated in any way.

This is important because some people think that just because a domestic worker works in someone's house, they don't deserve to be treated fairly. But that's not true! Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and kindness, no matter what kind of job they have.

So, the domestic worker's bill of rights exists to protect these workers and make sure they are treated fairly and with respect.
