ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Dominus Iesus

Dominus Iesus is a big fancy Latin phrase that means "Jesus is the Boss." It is a document that was made by some special people in the Catholic Church to explain what they believe about Jesus and how he is in charge of everything. They say that Jesus is not only the boss of the Catholic Church, but also the boss of all the other religions in the world too. They believe that all the other religions are important, but Jesus is the most important because he is the one who teaches us the right way to live and how to be good people. So, basically, Dominus Iesus is all about saying that Jesus is the most powerful and important leader of all.
