Doppelganger domain

A doppelganger domain is a website address (or URL) that looks very similar to the website address of a real website, but with a difference that could be hard to spot. For example, someone may create a doppelganger domain of Google by changing one letter so that it reads "Goggle" instead of "Google". If you go to the website associated with this doppelganger domain, it could be fake and not the real website it appears to be. Cyber criminals can use doppelganger domains to trick people into giving their personal information and passwords.
