Dor Yeshorim

Dor yeshorim is a program designed to help stop genetic health problems from happening. It makes sure that people who want to get married know ahead of time if their future children could have certain genetic issues. Dor Yeshorim does this by collecting blood samples from Jewish people who want to get married and then tests them for genetic diseases. If two people in the program both have the same genetic diseases, then Dor Yeshorim will let them know and they can decide if they still want to get married. The hope is that this program will help people avoid having children with health problems and give them peace of mind when they get married.
