ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

qbit

A qbit is the smallest unit of data in a quantum computer. It is like a traditional computer bit that can store either a 0 or 1. But unlike a regular computer bit, a qbit can be both a 0 and 1 at the same time, like a special number that can stand for both 0 and 1. This lets a quantum computer do two calculations at the same time.
