Doublespeak Award

The Doublespeak Award is given out to people or organizations who are especially good at speaking in a confusing way - this is also known as “doublespeak”. People who are experts in doublespeak often use long complicated phrases and words to say something that is actually quite simple. They twist the meaning of words and phrases so that it makes it hard to understand what they are actually trying to say. The Doublespeak Award is given out to someone who has spoken in a confusing way that hides their true meaning.
