Drapery

Drapery is like a big, fancy blanket that you hang up in your house to make it look pretty! It's usually made out of a special type of cloth that can be very soft and flowy or more stiff and structured.

You might see drapery hanging up in front of windows or around beds, but they can also be used to divide rooms or create little cozy nooks. They come in many colors and patterns so you can pick one that matches your home or your favorite colors!

To hang up a drapery, you need a special rod or pole that you can attach it to. Once the drapery is on the rod, you can use hooks or rings to hang it up high or low and let it billow in the breeze or stay still like a wall.

Some people even use drapery to block out sunlight or create privacy, but no matter how you use them, draperies can make a room look super fancy and cozy!
