Drip irrigation

Drip irrigation is a way to water plants. Instead of watering from above like when you use a hose or sprinkler, with drip irrigation water is delivered slowly and directly to the plants' roots. It's like a slow leak. The water is delivered through tubes, hoses, and other devices that have small holes in them. The water is sent out through these tiny holes and goes right to the plant's roots, without getting the leaves and other plants around it wet. This means that less water is used, and the plants get just enough water to be healthy.
