Hey there kiddo, have you ever been talking to someone on the phone and suddenly, the call just ends without any warning or reason? That's called a dropped call!
Now, when you make a phone call, your voice is turned into tiny electronic signals that travel through a bunch of wires and antennas to get to the person you're calling. Sometimes, those signals can get interrupted or lost along the way, kind of like when your toys get lost under your bed.
When this happens during a phone call, the people on the other end might not receive all of your voice signals and might not hear you. Or, your phone might stop receiving the other person's voice signals and you won't be able to hear them anymore. That's what causes a dropped call.
It can be frustrating, but don't worry! There are lots of reasons why a call might get dropped, like bad weather, too many people on the same network, or just a weak signal. And if it happens, you can always try calling back and continuing the conversation!
