Drought

A drought is when there isn't enough water in a certain area for a certain amount of time. This happens when it doesn't rain enough and the ground can't keep enough water to use. Droughts are usually very bad because people, animals, and plants need water to live. Without enough water, plants don't get enough water and may die, animals that need to drink water may die or have to go somewhere else to find water, and people can't do things like water their crops or take a shower.
