ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Leaf Sensor

A leaf sensor is a special kind of device that can measure how much water is in leaves. It does this by measuring how much electricity passes through the leaf when a tiny electrical current is sent through it. This electric current tells the sensor how much water is inside the leaf and if the leaf needs more water or not. The sensor then sends this information to a computer or phone so that people can see how much water their plants need.
